Al Dubin
Introducción

Alexander Dubin nació en Suiza. Después de mudarse a Nueva York inició una carrera como compositor.
Después de la primera guerra mundial se instaló en Hollywood, en equipo con el compositor Joseph Burke escribió canciones como; «Tip-Toe Through the Tulips», «Painting the Clouds With Sunshine», «Love Will Find a Way» y «Dancing With Tears in My Eyes». «.
Sería con Harry Warren con quien comenzaría su andadura en el musical, como ‘La calle 42’ (‘42nd Street’, 1933), ‘Desfile de candilejas’ (‘Footlight Parade’, 1933) y ‘Vampiresas 1933 (‘The Gold Diggers’, 1933) donde comenzaría a deslumbrar una joven Ginger Rogers.
Además, Dubin y Warren escribieron canciones que se hicieron muy populares. También trabajó en musicales como ‘Tres días de amor y fe’ (‘Stage Door Canteen’, 1943) junto al compositor James V. Monaco.
Parece que su estilo de vida le llevaría a una muerte prematura con 54 años.
