Betty Grable

Grable saltó a la fama en el musical de Broadway DuBarry Was a Lady (1939), que la llamó la atención de 20th Century-Fox.
‘Down Argentine Way’ (1940), fue su primera gran película de Hollywood, y se convirtió en la estrella de cine más grande de Fox durante los años cuarenta. Dos de sus mayores éxitos cinematográficos fueron el musical Mother Wore Tights (1947) y la comedia How to Marry a Millionaire (1953), una de sus últimas películas. Grable se retiró de la gran pantalla en 1955, aunque continuó actuando en el escenario y en la televisión.
Su hermosa voz, así como las canciones que interpretó la hicieron una de las actrices más importante de los años treinta y cuarenta.
